The Shack - by William P. Young

I've just finished a great book titled, The Shack. Its about a guy who has a deep resentment toward God because his daughter has been abducted. Four years after the terrible event, Mack, receives a letter from God inviting him to The Shack for the weekend.

New Course in Miracles website

I'm in the process of setting up a website that will be dedicated solely to A Course in Miracles. Those of you using the Daily Lesson gadgets on your Google or Yahoo home pages will be redirected automatically. I hope to finish before the start of the new year. I'll post here when I'm getting ready to switch over to that website.

Invitation - Practice the Characteristics of God's Teachers

Beginning Sunday 8/17/2008 we will be practicing the ten characteristics of God's teachers from the Manual for Teachers. We will take one characteristic to focus on for the week (Sunday-Saturday) starting with Trust. This will be a ten week exercise that may or may not continue depending on feedback.

In the moment

I've been focusing on being in the moment. The power of now, as Tolle calls it. It has been interesting. I've had brief lapses of time where I've been able to be at peace for a few minutes, hours and even a couple of days. But this time I've been at peace for 3 weeks. It started when I wrote down my life's mission.

I am a teacher of God.
